Dear colleagues,

I would like to inform you briefly about the SMAR - World Week Respected Childbirth http://www.smar.info in the Czech Republic - 15th - 21st May, 2006.

There was the art competition for children (age 4 - 18) : “How we come into this world” by UNIPA - Midwives Union. Totally 658 items were applied, and the “best of” can be seen at

If you have any idea how to use the pictures (posters, postcards, magazines, web sites), please contact me, no problem with the copyright anyway, just to mention the name and age of the child - author.

The highlight is the visit of Ina May Gaskin giving the public lecture on Friday, 19th in Prague :-)

A lot of other seminars and meetings given all over the country.

I feel things are moving forward quite well!
